Students evacuated after bomb hoax at International school

Parents are seen coming to the school to pick up their children.

MIRI: Students of an international school in Senadin here, were evacuated following an emailed bomb threat, on Wednesday morning.

According to sources, the school’s students were instructed to go to its assembly point, around 11.45am, to allow a police bomb squad and forensic unit to inspect the school building.

As a precaution, the school evacuated the students before seeking the police department for assistance.

Our reporter who was at the scene said the police team left the school premises at 3pm after extensive search did not find any suspicious devices.
