ALOR SETAR: Kedah Darul Aman FC (KDA FC) assistant head coach Victor Andrag is pleased with the performance of his players as they earned three points in last night’s Super League encounter against Perak FC.

He said that despite the absence of head coach Mohd Nafuzi Mohd Zain due to suspension, all of the players were able to execute their plans brilliantly.

“Of course I’m satisfied because from the start we were able to do what we planned, and despite early difficulties in finding the back of the net, we eventually scored.

“Although the absence of Mohd Nafuzi for three games and Manuel Ott for two games may interrupt the players’ momentum, I am confident that they will give it their all,” he told reporters after KDA FC’s 3-0 victory over Perak FC at the Darul Aman Stadium here last night.

Victor said that the entire Sang Kenari team, including young players and foreign imports, have improved and hoped that the momentum would continue in the upcoming match.

Meanwhile, Perak FC head coach Yusri Che Lah is counting on the supporters to demonstrate patience while they wait for changes to be made to the team during the July transfer window.

“The management will decide, and we hope for something. For me, we have a lot of players under the age of 23, and we definitely need a new striker to add to our strength after this.

“What is certain is that the existing players must work hard, we still have matches to play, and we need to make the most of our two home games,” said Yusri, who also expressed hope for the addition of import players to the team to create a more competitive balance. – BERNAMA
