KUCHING: Employees of a supermarket here acted quickly and nabbed a man suspected of stealing last Sunday.
Padawan OCPD Supt Aidil Bolhassan said the suspect, 31, was caught around 5pm.
The suspect was also caught on the supermarket’s CCTV for stealing last month, according to Supt Aidil.
“He was nabbed and tied up by the employees for stealing from the premises several months ago,” he said in a statement yesterday.
Supt Aidil added that the suspect was involved in three cases under Section 15 (1) (a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 and two cases under Section 380 of the Penal Code.
The suspect is being remanded for further investigation.
