Minister in Chief Minister’s Department (Integrity and Ombudsman) Datuk Talib Zulpilip has hit out at Putrajaya for establishing the Federal Village Community Management Council (MPKKP) in Sarawak.

The move, Talib said, was part of Pakatan Harapan’s effort to colonise Sarawak.

“The federal government has failed to fulfill its promise to return power autonomy to Sabah and Sarawak,” he told the media during a press conference yesterday.

He said MPKKP would only divide the people of Sarawak.

The move, Talib added, proved that Putrajaya had bad intentions towards Sarawak.

“In its manifesto before the election last year, PH promised to return 20 per cent of our oil and gas expenditure.

“But until now, none of these promises have been fulfilled.

“I wonder why it did not implement the MPKKP in Malaya,” he said.
