KUCHING: A technical student who threatened his stepmother and family
was arrested on Wednesday at about 8pm outside his house.
The 19-year-old student from Jalan Setian Raja had threatened family members over minor issues and according to his father who
lodged a police report, it was over some wrong wiring his wife had bought.
He used to have bouts of temper and threats but lately had used a dangerous weapon to threaten the family. This time, he threatened
to hurt his family members with a parang.
His father was said to be worried that some one might get hurt and thus made a police report.
Police also sezied a weapon after making an arrest. The youth was detained for further action.
