KUCHING: A 19-year-old teenager was seriously injured after a concrete wall fell on him at a technical institute in Santubong yesterday evening.
State Fire and Rescue (Bomba) Operations Centre said the man had gone to pick up a broom near the wall when it suddenly collapsed at 2.18pm.
“The victim suffered a broken leg and sustained an injury to the head.
“The section of the wall that collapsed measured at 2×6 six metres and was not in good condition,” it added.
The victim was rushed to the Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) for further treatment.
