TATAU: A driver and two passengers were slightly injured after the car they were travelling in rammed a trailer parked at a road shoulder at KM 44, Jalan Tatau-Bintulu,  early yesterday morning.

Tatau BOMBA chief, PBKII Mamat Bin Rhayi said that the car involved in the accident was heading for Bintulu before ramming the trailer.

The impact of the collision caused the driver to be pinned in his seat while the two passengers incurred pain in their chests.

The trailer driver and a passenger escaped unhurt.

Fireman managed to extricate the car driver before they clean the road for the safety of other road users.

The three victims were attended to at the scene by paramedics before they were taken to Bintulu Hospital for further treatment.
