MIRI: The construction of the Tinjar Sub-District Office in Baram is anticipated to be completed by May 22 next year.

Miri Resident Jamalie Busri stated that the project, costing RM5.9 million, commenced on July 14, 2022.

To check the project’s current construction state and progress towards completion, he paid a visit to the site yesterday (Oct 7).

He said that this is in line with the efforts to inspect and review the implementation of government projects in Sarawak at the divisional level.

“It aims to ensure that the projects being executed are orderly and completed within the specified timeframe in accordance with the requirements of Sarawak Premier (Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg),” he said during the site visit.

During the visit, Jamalie was briefed on the project by the acting district officer of Beluru, Charles Aloysius Lisu.
