KOTA SAMARAHAN: A trailer from Senari Port in Jalan Bako was stuck under an overhead bridge here yesterday morning which caused a big dent to the bridge at about 9.15am.
The overhead bridge located in front of Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS)’ East Campus is meant for two-wheeled vehicles and functions as a pedestrian crossing.
The driver of the trailer said that he was transporting a machine to the Samarahan Indoor Stadium and had underestimated the height of the trailer.
He added that he had asked for the company to provide a smaller trailer.
With the traffic police’s assistance, the trailer was then removed from the scene.
