SARIKEI: Two men were detained by anti-narcotics police here after they were found positive for drugs during two separate raids around the town area yesterday.
Sarikei District Police chief, Superintendent Mat Jusoh Mohamad said the suspects, aged 16 and 41, tested positive for methamphetamine.
“The suspects have been detained for investigation under Section 15 (1)(a) of the Dangerous Drugs Act, 1952,” he said.
Mat Jusoh said police would continue carrying out similar operations from time to time.
