KUCHING: A 27-year-old man from Betong was arrested for selling illegal lottery at a shop at Jalan Airport here at 2.50 pm last Saturday.

Among items seized from him were pieces of paper with four digit numbers, a stapler, a pen, a handphone and RM11.

In another raid on the same day at about 3 pm, another man was arrested at a coffee shop also in the same area. The man aged 32 from
Miri/Bintulu Road was found to be in possession of pieces of paper with four digit numbers, stationery and RM30. The two raids were led by Inspector
Mohammad bin Harun of D7 Kuching.

The two men were brought to the Padawan police station and detained for questioning.

Police said they will continue with the raids and urged members of
the public to provide them with information on the illegal activities.
