KUCHING: Two motorcyclists were injured in an accident at Jalan Penrissen here, Friday night.

It was said that the first victim was heading to Jalan Penrissen from Mile 3 when his motorcycle suddenly went out of control and crashed into a road signboard before being hit by another motorcyclist travelling behind him.

As a result of the crash, the first victim injured his right leg while the second victim, a soldier, suffered injury to his right arm.

An ambulance was called to the scene and both men were taken to the Sarawak General Hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, a supermarket manager lodged a police report after her employer’s Mercedes Benz car was smashed by an unknown person last Friday afternoon.

The incident occurred at around 3.30pm near a supermarket at Jalan Stutong here.

According to the complainant, the side window and front windscreen of the vehicle had been damaged.

Police were investigating the case.
