MIRI: A motorcyclist and his pillion rider sustained injuries after their motorcycle crashed into a pick-up truck along Jalan Miri Bypass, Pujut Padang Kerbau on yesterday (Mar 8).
A spokesman from the Civil Defence Force (APM) said they received an emergency call at around 10.35 pm and deployed a five-member team to the scene.
On arrival, the team found that the motorcyclist fractured his right leg while his pillion rider sustained injuries on his right leg.
Both of them aged 18, were administered first aid at the scene before they were taken to Miri Hospital for further treatment.
It was reported that the pick-up truck driver was unharmed during the collision.
