KUCHING: Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jafaar broke fast with 300 guests at the Astana last night (Mac 18).
Accompanying Wan Junaidi was his wife, Toh Puan Fauziah Mohd Sanusi.
The guests included local residents, village chiefs, community leaders around Kuching, members of non-governmental organisations (NGOs), department heads, and civil servants.
During the event, the guests also received donations from the Governor.
Earlier, Wan Junaidi joined the congregants for Maghrib, Isyak and Tarawih prayers.
Among those present were Deputy Minister in the Premier’s Department (Integrity and Ombudsman) Datuk Dr Juanda Jaya and Satok assemblyman Datuk Ibrahim Baki.
