KUCHING: Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud and his wife, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Raghad Kurdi Taib, donated 60 packages of Nasi Arab here yesterday.
Astana Negeri Sarawak in a statement today said the event, which was organised in conjunction with the month of Ramadan, took place at At-Taqwa Gita Mosque.
The brief ceremony was officiated by Raghad’s eldest son Nizar Mahdi who represented Taib and Raghad.
The donation was handed over to the mosque representative Jaya Ahmad.
Also present were the TYT’s private secretary Junih Salleh Ahmad and the Astana Negeri Sarawak religious officer Ahmad Zamri Shah Mohamad Jeman.
