Unicef rep to Malaysia pays courtesy call

KUCHING: Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg received in his office at the DUN building a joint courtesy call by the Ambassador of Malaysia to Japan Datuk Kennedy Jawan and Malaysian High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam Ismail Salam.

Accompanying the two Malaysian envoys during the visit was Foreign Ministry Regional Office in Kuching director Deddy Faisal Ahmad Salleh.

Earlier, the Chief Minister also received in his office a courtesy call by the United Nations Children Fund’s (Unicef) Representative to Malaysia and Special Representative to Brunei Darussalam Marianne Clark-Hattingh.

During the visit Clark-Hattingh briefed the Chief Minister on the various activities of Unicef in Malaysia.

Also present was Deputy Representative Radoslaw Rzehak.
