KUCHING: AZAM Sarawak is fortifying its strategic partnership with the United States Embassy in Kuala Lumpur to foster development awareness and active engagement among stakeholders in Sarawak.

AZAM chairman Datuk William Patrick Nyigor expressed his gratitude to the US Embassy for its unwavering support in providing subject matter experts who have shared their knowledge and skills with Sarawak’s development stakeholders over the years.

The commitment to collaboration was reaffirmed during a visit to Kompleks AZAM here by US Embassy Kuala Lumpur Chargé d’Affaires Manu Bhalla today.

In light of this, William expressed his hope for more such cooperative efforts in the future.

Meanwhile, Bhalla said the US Department of State remains committed to supporting the activities of their long-standing partners and civil society members in Sarawak, including AZAM.

“We look forward to exploring more collaborative activities with AZAM that promote awareness and engagement in areas such as sustainable development, the digital economy, youth development, and media development,” he said.
