KUALA LUMPUR: Urban Transformation Centres (UTC) nationwide will operate according to new operating hours during Ramadan from May 16 until June 17, 2018.
The Finance Ministry, in a statement issued yesterday, said a change in the operating hours was to take care of the UTC staff’s welfare during Ramadan and to ensure services to the public are not disrupted.
“UTC in the peninsula will be operating daily (from Monday to Sunday) from 8.30 am until 5 pm while those in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan will operate from 8 am until 4.30 pm daily,” it said.
The change in operating hours will involve 14 UTC in the peninsula and three each in Sabah and Sarawak as well as one in Labuan. – BERNAMA
