KUCHING: Parti Sarawak Bersatu (PSB) Youth chief Johnical Rayong Ngipa has assured that he would sink and swim with the party.

“There is no U-turn,” he said in response to Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) president Datuk Dr Sim Kui Hian welcoming former members to rejoin SUPP.

Rayong, who is also Engkilili assemblyman, said he had made a decision not to join SUPP but to remain loyal to PSB.

When asked about the other members whether they would rejoin SUPP, Rayong said, “No. Our party president Datuk Seri Wong Soon Koh and other founder members have decided to stay and swim with PSB.”

Rayong then said he respected his party president Datuk Seri Wong Soon Koh’s decision to consider quitting the state cabinet.

“Wong said since the state leadership has cut off the arms and legs of our party PSB, it is now a matter of his and PSB’s political integrity.

“What he meant on the hostile treatment by Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) was that PSB councillors have all been excluded in the new list. To him (Wong), this is hostile treatment,” Rayong pointed out.
