MUKAH: Wilma Tan, 24, was crowned the Queen of Kaul Petanak 2023 at the cultural night event held in conjunction with the Kaul Petanak 2023 celebration.
The event took place at the Kaul Petanak Stage, Kuala Sungai Petanak Site here last Monday (Feb 27) night.
A 23-year-old Kampung Petanak girl Jennifer Christie Ong was placed second while Olivia Ong, 23, was placed third.
Organised by the Kaul Petanak Committee 2023, the event received a total of 12 participants consisting of girls from Kampung Petanak. The ceremony achieved its quest for success and enthralled local residents.
Out of the twelve contestants in total, the Kaul Petanak Queen Wilma, its first runner-up Jennifer and second runner-up Olivia all walked home with cash prizes and hampers.
