BINTULU: A woman in her early 30s was unharmed when a car she was travelling in veered off the road along Jalan Samarakan, Bintulu-Sibu yesterday.

According to Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations centre (PGO), six firefighters from Tatau fire station were mobilised to the scene after responding to an alert received at 12.40pm.

Sources added that passers-by assisted the victim to get out from the vehicle.

Investigations are underway to determine the cause of the accident.
