LUNDU: A total of 150 students have received assistance in the form of school bags in conjunction with the ‘Back To School’ Programme Tanjong Datu 2024.

According to Tanjong Datu assemblyman Azizul Annuar Adenan, this programme is an annual initiative organised by the Tanjong Datu Service Centre to aid students returning to school, thereby easing the burden on parents in providing school essentials for their children.

He made these remarks during the programme held at Mahligai Gading Lundu Multipurpose Hall recently.

Furthermore, he said that the programme would continue in the future, with an increase in the number of students, given the positive response received from students and parents every year.

Additionally, a free haircut session was provided for male students from primary to secondary schools in the Lundu, Sampadi, and Sematan Zones.

On this occasion, Azizul also expressed his appreciation to the Tanjong Datu Service Centre as well as Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Youth and Women’s Wings for their assistance in implementing this programme.
