25 girls called up for centralised training in preparation for AFF U-15 tournament

KUALA LUMPUR: Twenty-five players have been called up for a 10-day centralised training camp at the Pahang Malaysia Sports School in Gambang beginning today in preparation for the Asean Football Federation (AFF) Girls’ Under-15 Championship, which will be held in Chonburi, Thailand from May 9-21.

The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) said in a statement that the final 23-player squad would leave for Chonburi on May 7.

Malaysia will begin their Group B campaign against Laos on May 9 before facing Cambodia (May 11), hosts Thailand (May 15) and Singapore (May 17) at the Chonburi IPE Stadium.

The semi-finals will be held on May 19 and final on May 21 at the same venue.
