KUCHING: 25 finalists of the Miss and Mister Cute Sarawak 2020 will compete in the grand final at the Old Court House Auditorium here on Feb 8. They comprise 11 female and 14 male contestants.
The inaugural pageant is a talent search competition organised by Tiara Management.
Themed ‘Cute is The New Sexy’, the competition is a platform for participants of all background to showcase their talents in modelling, singing and acting before heading to a bigger stage one day.
The female contestants are Nurul Jasmin Natasha, 20, from Kuching; Michelle Pamela Desion, 30, (Samarahan); Alia Maisarah Ismul Akzam, 18, (Kuching); Daisy Felicia Thomas, 21, (Bintulu); Sharen Mandoh, 18, (Kuching); Ivana Cassandra Radeng, 23, (Kuching); Natasya Johar, 22, (Kuching); Stacy Judith, 17, (Miri); Nor Azura Morsidi, 29,(Spaoh); Sazilawaty Masli, 35, (Kuching) and Andreana Celly Haron, 16, from Lundu.
The male contestants are Felix Jana Florence, 19, from Keninggau, Sabah; Merupie Albert, 20, (Lubok Antu); Augustien Gerang Likong, 18, (Tatau); Maxwell Robin Opis, 22, (Kanowit); Mohamad Isham Abdullah, 18, (Miri); Andres Ricardo, 19, (Samarahan); Sayed Haris Irfan Sayed Mohd Zawawi, 18, (Labuan); Razani Suhai@suhaili, 26, (Lundu); Mohamad Haffiz Kelana Sakti, 20, (Sibu); Victor Judan, 27, (Miri); Liew Nardong Edward Sabi, 19, (Samarahan); Nicholas Stindin Tikok, 27, (Lubok Antu); Joannes Vinihillary Elvin Harry, 22, (Serian) and Albert Pusai, 17, from Samarahan.
Yesterday, during an introduction session at CityOne Megamall, the finalists were given an opportunity to introduce themselves to the crowd.
The event also witnessed the crowning of ‘Darling of The Crowd’ won by Ivana Cassandra Radeng and Joannes Vinihillary Elvin Harry. Both of them took home a crown, sash, plaque and cash price of RM100 each.
At the event, Victoria Musa was appointed ambassador for Miss and Mister Cute Sarawak 2020. Victoria is a successful businesswoman and an alumni of Mrs Charity Queen Sarawak 2020. She has also represented Sarawak at the national pageant in Kuala Lumpur.
