KUCHING: A total of 270 Kenyalang Gold Cards (KGCs) were distributed to Senadin constituents last Sunday.
The KGCs were distributed by Senadin assemblyman Datuk Lee Kim Shin at a ceremony held at the Dato Permaisuri Hall in Permyjaya, Miri.
According to Lee, who is also Transport Minister, a total of 636 KGCs has been distributed in the Senadin constituency as of now.
“This is the third batch that we received from the Welfare Department. Once it is here, we will arrange for a presentation ceremony and contact all recipients to come and collect their KGCs,” he said in a statement on Sunday
For senior citizens who have yet to apply, Lee informed that applications can be made online (https://kenyalanggold.com) or through the Senadin Community Service Centre.
“Our friendly staff will assist with the application and any enquiries can be directed to Senadin Community Service Centre hotline at 085-650688 during office hours,” he added.
