A total of 500 participants from various corporate sectors have attended the ‘One Day Conference- Governance Culture Programme- What’s Possible’ on Jul 24, which was the initiative of the state government and Malaysian Institute of Corporate Governance.

This was stated by Minister in the Chief Minister’s Office (Integrity and Ombudsman), Datuk Talib Zulpilip in his winding up speech at the State Legislative Assembly (DUN) sitting here on Wednesday. According to him, this was in line with the state government’ desire to emphasised the implementation of best governance in ensuring that the government’s machinery could bear the responsibility entrusted by the people.

Thus, he said the establishment of the integrity and ombudsman’s portfolio was timely and the government had planned and implemented various programmes and activities.

“We have go to the grassroots level and delivering the meaning and the essence of integrity to make sure that the practice and the culture of good governance could begin from early stage.
