KUCHING: Both the Serian Interchange 1 and Serian Interchange 2 flyovers will be completed before Ramadan, said Bukit Semuja assemblyman John Ilus.
He added that this was the assurance given to him by the contractors. “The flyover project
is almost completed and is expected to be ready by April.”
The completion of the flyovers would also ease traffic flow throughout Ramadan with many people commuting to their hometowns for Eid.
“For now, construction and improvement works are being done,” he told reporters during the Digital Asset Organisation (DAO) dinner ceremony here on Monday night.
It is understoood that the Serian Interchange 1 flyover near Unaco supermarket and Serian Hospital has already been opened partially since Jan 23.
