KUCHING: A delegation from the Sarawak Islamic Information Centre (SIIC) paid a courtesy call on the Head of State, Tun Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud at his official residence in Demak Jaya here, yeterday morning. The SIIC delegation was led by the Chairman of Majlis Islam Sarawak, Datu Misnu Taha.
The aim of the visit was to officially invite Tun Pehin Sri Taib to officiate at the SIIC programme on ‘Tun Taib’s Lecture Series’, scheduled to be held in May this year.
Among the delegates were the Chairman of Unimas Board of Directors, Datu Dr Hatta Bin Solhi, ICC Chief Executive Officer Dr Zabariah Matali and the Chairman of its Advisory Panel, Prof Dr Abdul Rahman Deen.
