MIRI: A maid got the shock of her life when she saw a snake in the kitchen while cooking on Tuesday evening.
Terrified by the presence of the reptile, she immediately alerted her 71-year-old employer who then called the Miri Civil Defence Force (APM) for help.
Four APM personnel were rushed to the scene at Jalan Lim Chin Chean here and managed to capture the one-metre long reptile within 10 minutes.
