Aerobig Day 2024 to promote health and unity

KUCHING: The upcoming Aerobig Day 2024 will see three main cities in Sarawak, namely Kuching, Miri and Sibu, hosting the event.

Organised by Persatuan Kebajikan Bantuan Komuniti Terpinggir Sarawak in collaboration with Life Event Borneo, the event aims to promote a healthy lifestyle and foster unity among Sarawak’s multiracial community.

Organising chairman Ryan Jee said that besides promoting health, the event will also contribute to charitable causes. “Proceeds from the event will go towards supporting those in need.”

Aerobig Day 2024 will be held on different dates for each city. Miri will host the event on Sept 1, followed by Sibu on Sept 8, and finally, Kuching on Sept 22.

泥eputy Minister for Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts, Datuk Sebastian Ting is expected to attend Miri’s Aerobig Day, while in Sibu, Deputy Minister for Public Health, Housing and Local Government, Datuk Michael Tiang Ming Tee is expected to attend.

Registration for the event is now open and will close on Aug 1. Organisers anticipate the participation of 1,000 individuals in each city.

Early registrants can take advantage of the early bird promotion, with Category A (including a T-shirt) priced at RM30 and Category B (without a T-shirt) at RM10. The early bird promotion will be valid until April 30.
