Anonymous donor donates digital microscope to hospital

MIRI: An anonymous donor has gifted a digital microscope worth RM15, 215 to the Miri Hospital to help in the fight against Covid-19.

The simple handing over of the digital microscope took place on Saturday (Oct 16) morning when Assistant Minister for Tourism, Arts and Culture Datuk Sebastian Ting cum Piasau assemblyman presented the donation to Miri Hospital Director Dr Jack Wong.

Ting, when met after the ceremony, expressed his gratitude towards the anonymous benefactor for the contribution.

According to Dr Jack Wong, the hospital wanted to buy the equipment in August this year, but due to insufficient fund, it had to postpone the purchase.
