SARATOK: A lack of good roads was among several issues raised during a meeting with Kalaka assemblyman Mohamad Duri.

The meeting at the Roban District Office saw community leaders of the area discussing with him matters related to the needs of residents in the area.

Village chief Augustine Juti who was also present gave suggestions related to development there.

Mohamad Duri said he would ensure that some of the Rural Transformation Programme (RTP)  proposed previously would be continued.

“The projects will be done carefully and fairly according to the needs of the people,” he said.

Also present were Roban sub-district supervising administrative officer Michael Meling, Penghulu Wilfred Empathy and Penghulu Lim Kheng Huat.
