KUCHING: All assemblypersons are urged to assist the Ministry of Education, Innovation and Talent Development in monitoring school projects in their respective areas.

Minister Datuk Seri Roland Sagah Wee Inn said any issues arising in their respective areas could be directly brought to his ministry or the Sarawak Education Department (JPNS).

“We all share the same goals and outcomes. Let us address any issues or concerns in a familial manner.

“I can assure you that my officers have good relationships with their counterparts in the Ministry of Education Malaysia (KPM) and JPNS.

“We will strive to address these matters together.”

Sagah said this during the closing of the Schools Development Coordination briefing held at Wisma Sabati here, on Wednesday (March 27).

Furthermore, he said regarding issues with dilapidated schools previously, KPM needs to collaborate with the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Economy on alternative financing models to comprehensively address them.
