MUKAH: Supply of chicken eggs in the district will return to normal on Wednesday (June 8).
Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs Ministry branch head Salihin Den who gave the assurance said there had been a delay in the delivery of chicken eggs by suppliers.
“This is because the suppliers’ workers from Sibu and Kuching were still on holiday until yesterday (Tuesday).
“Therefore, the supply is expected to return to normal on Wednesday and the Sibu and Kuching suppliers will make deliveries as usual,” he said in a statement.
“Chicken eggs will always be available every day … this is a guarantee from our main egg supplier,” he said.
