ACTRESS Bella Astillah has dismissed the notion that she had planned the ‘khalwat’ arrest of her husband, Aliff Aziz, and actress Ruhainies recently.

The 30-year-old singer said she was taken aback by the allegations, and the thought of planning something like that never occurred to her as she considers Ruhainies to be a good friend.

“Why would I plan something like that? I myself was surprised that it was Ruhainies who was caught with Aliff. Everyone knows I am on good terms with her and friends with her.

“Actually, you can check the facts with Jawi (Federal Territories Islamic Religious Department),” she said in an interview on TV3 music programme Melodi last weekend.

“As of now, my main focus is just to move on,” she said.

Bella also shared that an individual had contacted her to give information related to Aliff.

“I have met and gotten this person’s phone number. The person had wanted to contact me for a long time, but I’ve been very busy,” she said.

Previously, the arrest of Aliff and Ruhainies by Jawi officers in a condominium in KL on March 9 became the talk of the town.

They were released on bail later on the same day and are set to be charged in the Syariah Court.

Bella filed for divorce from Aliff last week, but the mention of the case was delayed after the actor was not able to attend due to being tied up with filming a drama.

Both Aliff and Ruhainies also released official statements online to explain what had really taken place on that fateful night and denied that they were in a special relationship.
