Business delegation calls on new Indonesian consul general

KUCHING: The new Consul General of Republic of Indonesia in Kuching, Raden Sigit Witgaksono received a courtesy visit from the Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Sarawak (ACCCIS) on Tuesday (April 12).

The ACCCIS delegation was led by its president Datuk Tan Jit Kee. Joining him was also vice- presidents Datuk Wee Kok Hui and Kuek Eng Mong, secretary-general Datuk Jonathan Chai Voon Tok and Digital Economy Committee chairman Rodger Chan Siong Boh.

The main goal of the visit was to explore investment opportunities in Indonesia, especially following the relocation of the capital of Indonesia to Kalimantan province and also to intensify mutual cooperation and maintain a good working relationship between the consulate and ACCCIS.

Also present were consulate senior staff Tjandra Prijanri and Alexandri Legawa.
