Business resumes after pipe repair

MIRI: Business operations at a mall returned to normal on Sunday after repair works were carried out to plug a pipe burst which caused a portion of its first floor ceiling to give way on Saturday.

Videos of the 4pm incident which went viral on social media showed water falling through the ceiling onto an outlet’s merchandise.

This morning, however business operations inside the mall resumed after the mall’s management carried out immediate repair works.

A photo taken on Sunday afternoon at 12pm, showed the collapsed ceiling have been repaired.
