BYE Mini Concert in Bintulu this Saturday

BINTULU: The public are invited to attend the BYE Mini Concert scheduled for this Saturday (Sept 16) at the Boulevard Shopping Mall here.

This event is a collaborative effort between Junior Chambers International (JCI) Bintulu, the Sarawak Youth and Sports Department (JBS) Bintulu Division, Boulevard Shopping Mall Bintulu, and is sponsored by BMAS Entertainment.

Dato Andenson, founder and managing director of BMAS Entertainment, said the mini concert is free and open to everyone who wishes to experience local performers making their mark in the Sarawak arts industry.

The event will feature talented local artists such as Urai Rosiana, Jacqueline Huang, Rosidi Lovero, Scyla King, Sta Sirai, and AL, with Dennis D’Acakuya serving as the host.

Andenson expects an audience of over 1,000 people at the main stage of the concert. “The primary goal of organising this event is to provide the local community with entertainment and offer singers affiliated with BMAS Entertainment a chance to connect with their fans, especially in Bintulu.”

He expressed gratitude to Bintulu JCI, JBS, and Boulevard Shopping Mall Bintulu for their collaboration and support in making this event possible.

Andenson also mentioned that similar mini concerts may be organised in other regions to meet the demand of local singer fans affiliated with BMAS Entertainment, including areas like Johor, where many Sarawakians reside.

“With the warm response from fans of local singers, BMAS Entertainment is confident that Sarawak’s performing arts and entertainment industry will experience rapid growth, ensuring a bright future for those involved in the world of art and entertainment.”

The press conference on today (Sept 15) was attended by several key figures, including Dax Ting, the secretary of JCI Jalan Tanjung Kidurong, Bintulu, and the chairman of the organising committee for the Bintulu Youth Exhibition 2023; Kigen Satong, the Bintulu Divisional Youth and Sports officer; Rommel Ling, the assistant manager of Boulevard Mall Bintulu Council and Marketing; and Rapunzel Anthony Jamuh, a Malaysian Youth Parliament member.
