KUCHING: Desa Wira residents are encouraged to take advantage of the Roll-On Roll-Off (RORO) bins facility to dispose of their unwanted bulky items or waste safely and properly at the location provided this today (June 11).
Trienekens Sarawak Sdn Bhd in a Facebook post announced that the RORO bins will be located at the compound of Padawan Municipal Council’s (MPP) Nursery Office and Balai Raya Lorong 20, Desa Wira.
“This month’s Bulky Waste Collection Campaign, slated to take place on June 11, is organised jointly by MPP and Trienekens with support from Desa Wira Village Development and Security Committees (JKKKs) as well as GVE.
“Aside from disposing of bulky waste, residents also get the opportunity to earn some cash at GVE’s recycling and e-waste buy-back counter from 8am to 12pm,” it said via the post.
Meanwhile, among the items the public can dispose of are old, used or broken furniture; old or used mattress; garden waste; construction or renovation waste.
