SARATOK: The Saratok Festival and Kalaka Regatta are set to welcome visitors to capture memorable moments while participating in the photography competition themed “Kalaka Regata 2023 @sarawaknews” this weekend.
Assemblyman Mohamad Duri said this community-based programme takes place once a year and invited all visitors attending the regatta to take as many pictures as possible to create lasting memories.
“Visitors can seize the opportunity and participate in the photography competition. By doing so, participants stand a chance to win exciting prizes, with the first-place winner receiving RM300 and the runner-up receiving RM200. Third place will be awarded RM100, and two consolation winners will each receive RM50.
“The competition guidelines are simple – participants are allowed to submit one photo per entry, taken using any device, and the winner will be determined based on the number of likes received on the photos,” he said when met by the media yesterday.
