DARO: Eligible residents here will have an opportunity to own a low-cost house under the Rintis Programme Rumah Spekra (RSP) project at Skim Pasaran Kampung (SPK) Badong Daro.

Daro assemblyman Safiee Ahmad said the project would benefit the people especially at SPK Badong Aga to have a comfortable home.

“This project will provide loan facilities and its costs are also subsidised by the state government.

“The implementation of the RSP project in Daro District is greatly appreciated and I express our thanks to Sarawak government, especially Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg for his concern and approval of this project,” he said at the Kembilan Daro Hall.

The first project will look at the people’s response and the demand for the project and if it succeeds in improving the livelihood of the people, more such projects will be done in future.

“Participants who wish to apply for them can get the form at  Daro District Office and return the completed form to Sarawak Housing Development Corporation (HDC),” he said.

He added that all participants will be interviewed by HDC.

Earlier, a briefing was held to explain to 49 participants who were recipients of land lots at Kampung Badong Phase 1 expansion scheme.
