KUCHING: Chegu Aiman Gadget, a local mobile phone store, celebrated the opening of their second branch in Samarahan today (April 1).
The opening ceremony was officiated by the Women, Early Childhood and Community Well-being minister Datuk Seri Fatimah Abdullah.
In congratulating the owner, Fatimah said, “Aiman Abdul Hamid is one of those who are very brave to take risks to start a business. Because this is his choice and interest, I believe that the decisions made by him will bear fruit. Congratulations to Aiman and his team. Not all young people have the courage to take risks like this, so I hope he can serve as an example to others.”
“I am proud and grateful to Aiman for opening his second branch after two years of operation. I have also learned that he and his team will be opening a third branch in Sabah later this year. His strong team works together to advance the business,” she said.
Meanwhile, Aiman, 25, expressed his excitement about the new branch and his vision for the future.
He said, “Today is a significant milestone for me and my team. We’re taking our business to the next level, and our goal is to provide affordable smartphones for everyone.”
“We thank our customers for their support and loyalty. Without them, we wouldn’t be where we are today,” said Aiman.
The Chegu Aiman Gadget store is located on a three-story lot and features a futuristic design.
Following a two-month renovation, the branch now offers a ground floor where customers can browse all the store’s products.
The first floor provides face-to-face phone repair services, and the top floor accommodates staff members who live far from the store.
