SIBU: The main electrical switch at St Theresa Church at Sungai Merah Bazaar caught fire on Friday night.
After the Fire and Rescue Department received a call at 8.13pm, 11 firemen from the Sungai Merah Fire and Rescue Station led by Joseph Balon rushed to the church.
There, they found the fire had died down.
Bomba then called Sarawak Energy to look into the matter.
The firemen returned to their station after the Sarawak Energy staff arrived.
