MIRI: A one and a half metre long cobra was caught after it was spotted hiding behind a refrigerator of a house in Taman Seaview Miri on Sunday.
According to Miri Civil Defence force (APM) Captain (PA) Usman Harto, his men took about 15 minutes to secure the area.
“We were informed on the discovery at about 4.51pm and arrived at the house at about 5.15pm,” he said.
The venomous reptile was caught and has been released to its natural habitat later that day.
