KABONG: Parents need to work closely with the school to combat the growing drug abuse. This was advised by Kabong assemblyman Mohd Chee Kadir.

Sarawak Public Communication Unit (UKAS) quoted Mohd Chee as saying that parents should also emphasise the noble values in life to be set as an example to their children.

He said this at the 17th Annual General Meeting of the Parents and Teachers Association (PIBG) Session 2020-2022 at the RMT Hall, Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Abang Leman Kabong today.

Earlier, he declared open the Anti-Drug Corner of SK Abang Leman, Kabong which had a designated space in the school.

He then presented a contribution amounting to RM10,000 through his minor rural project (MRP) funds to the school.
