KAPIT: Sarawak Commissioner of Police, Datuk Mazlan Mansor was here for an official visit, yesterday.

He flew in a helicopter from Belaga.

On hand to welcome Mazlan and entourage was Kapit Police chief,  DSP Freddy Bian, Special Branch Officer ASP Chua Sui Hua, officer in charge of management ASP Chiew Swoi Kee, officer in charge of CID, ASP Makkaranu Beddu, Officer in charge of narcotic, ASP Jawie Hamata, officer in charge of public order and traffic, ASP Fauzan Kasim, Inspector Ugendran and Isan Sari (CID), Inspector Fredly Juing (logistic), Inspector Romi Bennet (Special Branch), Inspector Mohd Nizam (nacrotic) and Inspector Norita Mohd Khalid (women and domestic violence) and the other police personnel here.

Prior to his visit here Mazlan attended a briefing by Belaga Police chief DSP Melay Tinggom during his visit to the Belaga Police Headquarters. He also visited the Bakun Dam.

Kapit Police chief, DSP Freddy Bian briefed Mazlan on the various aspects of policing.

The visit was Mazlan’s first official visit to Kapit since he assumed the post of Sarawak Commissioner of Police.
