Crowds swarm tHe Spring’s Parkson for closing down sales

KUCHING: A large crowd is spotted flocking to tHe Spring Shopping Mall as early as the crack of dawn to take advantage of Parkson’s clearance sale.
 
Parkson at tHe Spring Shopping Mall will be closing after 15 years of operations.
 
According to a post on Facebook, Parkson The Spring Kuching will be holding a closing-down sale starting today (April 7) until April 24.
 
Pictures circulating on social media show that the mall was fully packed from the first to the third floor.
 
Meanwhile, there was heavy traffic seen on the flyover at Simpang 3, which leads to Jalan Tun Razak and Kuching Bypass. All roads in the Kenyalang Park area were also congested.
 
Parkson is a well-known Malaysian department store that has been operating for over 30 years.
 
Its closure at tHe Spring Shopping Mall is a significant event for both the mall and the retail industry in Kuching.
