MIRI: Fifteen youths were apprehended by law enforcement for engaging in dangerous stunts on their motorcycles during an operation dubbed ‘Ops Samseng Jalanan’ on Sunday morning.

Miri police chief ACP Alexson Naga Chabu said today (Mar 25) that these youths, aged 15 to 28, were detained near Jalan Tudan after being spotted performing dangerous stunts on their motorcycles and engaging in speed racing.

The six-hour operation, conducted by the Miri Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department, began at 12.30 am.

The case is being investigated under Section 42(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
