KUCHING: Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg today (Dec 19) welcomed Deputy Minister of Economy Datuk Hanifah Hajar Taib for a courtesy visit at Wisma Bapa Malaysia.
During the visit, Hanifah discussed the Sistem Pangkalan Data Utama (PADU), a system designed to improve the distribution of government aid.
“I provided information about the purpose and the sources of information and statistics that help paint a clearer picture, making it easier for amendments to be made to the data,” Hanifah said.
She also sought the Premier’s approval for integrating Sarawak’s agency and ministry data into the PADU system.
“As for the distribution method, it is still under discussion as we want to ensure the most suitable method that can cover the entire country. Currently, there is no certainty as we want to see which method is most practical,” she added.
Also present were Acting State Secretary Datuk Dr Muhammad Abdullah Zaidel and Federal Secretary Datuk Ahmad Nadzri Mohd Hassan.
