Sibu district police chief ACP Stanley Jonathan Ringgit said the suspect was detained at the car park in front of a building at Lorong Tun Ahmad Zaidi Adruce 28A here.

During the arrest, police seized one large and one small plastic packet containing powdery substances believed to be drugs.

“Each packet contained suspected methamphetamine powder. The suspect was taken to the Sungai Merah police station for further investigation,” he said.

Stanley said the suspect tested positive for drug.
